WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is an international organization that promotes small-scale farming by connecting enthusiastic volunteers with host farms that embrace organic agricultural practices. WWOOFers assist our work and gain skills in exchange for room and board. We wouldn’t be where we are without this lively, ever-changing volunteer base over the last 14 years, and pass our deep gratitude to all with whom we’ve crossed paths.
We generally host WWOOFers from February through the end of October. WWOOFers help with tasks big and small — garden maintenance, animal care, milking, food processing, cooking, painting, fencing, wood-splitting, jobs on the New House, etc. If you’re interested in a volunteering with us in 2026, reach out through WWOOF.
We are also open to longer term apprenticeships / co-habitation arrangements from committed and grounded individuals who are on a path towards their own farming future. For those with a true passion for the subsistence lifestyle, we’d engage in a deeper training, friendship, and allowance of agency. We welcome those in peaceful partnerships as well. Contact us if this resonates with you.
